At CSporthorse Hanoverians we are committed to providing only the best sport horses to our clients. We use only German Hanoverian Verband approved stallions in our breeding program with special attention given to their rideability and versatility in both dressage and jumping. Our goal is to breed exceptional equine athletes for the serious equine sport enthusiast.

The Prospects In Our Paddocks

We have a healthy selection of horses sired by a variety of Hanoverian approved stallions available through Celle in Germany and right here in Canada. Most of our breeding is done on site through artificial insemination using frozen or fresh semen depending upon availability. The breedings are thoughtfully chosen according to mare type and history of progeny. Our mares foal out on site in our spring pastures. All of our foals are raised together in a herd setting in order to promote proper socialization skills. Our expectation is to have all of our offspring prepared for performance testing between the ages of three to five years depending on their individual readiness and maturity.

Gwynn
2005 Mare by Glueckspferd
Gwynn is an '05 mare that is well proportioned with great breeding potential. She stands at 16.2 hands. A very attractive mare with a nice disposition and three fantastic gaits. Gwynn is currently jumping 3'6" courses with ease while excelling in her flatwork. She has six months professional training and is a great dressage and jumper prospect with above average movement.

Federman
2007 Gelding by Federweisser
Federman is a natural born jumper with a fabulous topline and easy temperment. His sire Federweisser is currently ranked 21st in the world for eventing sires. He currently stands at 16.2 hands. Federman wowed the crowds at the Bob Henselwood Free Jumping Clinic as a yearling at Anderson Ranch 2008. He is currently under saddle and in training showing tremendous scope, ability and desire. Federman will make a great eventing and jumping prospect.

The Brood Mares In Our Paddocks

The mares that we use in our breeding program are very carefully selected as we feel that it is a privilege and not a right to become a brood mare. Our mares have been trained, ridden and proven each in their ability to perform and by their progeny. It is our belief that the mare is the most important factor in any breeding program and they must fulfill a very stringent list of criteria before they are permitted access into our breeding barn.

Wiebke is a powerful '95 mare with strong gaits and a good mind. She stands at 16.2 hands. Wiebke consistently produces winning foals that always impress with their topline and easy temperments. She is the cornerstone of our breeding program with her foundation pedigree.

Kelsey's Pick has had a successful racing carreer before becoming a riding horse and successful German Hanoverian Verband approved brood mare. She is a refining and athletic influence in our breeding program.
